"God's Remedy"

"Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad." (Psalms 53:6) You might think that this is a little 'dubious' itself, seeing how the foolishness of God is greater than the wisest man could ever think of; God makes things so simple, that even an idiot could come to understand and believe. That is probably why Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein" (Mark 10:15 & Luke 18:17). It really does not matter how bad you have been, or how far you have strayed from the truth, or even if you have thumbed your nose at God, He has a remedy for your foolishness and your wickedness; as evil as men can be, God's righteousness is greater than all the evil in the world combined and multiplied a hundred times over. Can God make a rock so big that even He can't move it? Ya, Right! Talk about 'dubious', God does dubious while He thumbs His nose at evil! Everything about God's remedy for man's demise was questionable and suspect, yet He did it all in spite, and just to show evil off. Just look at some of the examples of how He made it all happen, the bloodline alone seems dubious in itself; let alone, that He would bring the Messiah out of Nazareth, how about Him showing up as a Baby? That God would enter into the world in human flesh; taking on the form of that which He created, growing up among us, and then letting that flesh be tortured and killed that we might live; who would have thought? or as Isaiah put it, "Who hath believed our report?" (Isaiah 53:1) Look at where the King was born, in a manger, in a town where people raised lambs to be sacrificed; seems a little dubious, wouldn't you say? Even His birth was surrounded by suspicion and controversy, as His mother, who was a virgin, was with child; like, as if the neighborhood bought that line; I am sure that everyone was convinced that was what had happened; not! God takes the lowest and foolish things of this world and He makes a Rock that no one can move...
"Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." (Isaiah 53:10-12) MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
