"Deep Respect!"

"But ye are come unto Mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels," (Hebrews 12:22 KJV)

"Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For God's gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead. Now they are the rebels, and God's mercy has come to you so that they, too, will share in God's mercy. For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone. Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!" (Romans 11:28-33 NLT)

Now, about that thing about fear of God; it is not that we are afraid of Him, because we know how much He loves us; and because He loves us, we know that He is for us; meaning that He wants us to make it through this journey, so that we will be united with Him, once all of this is over! There are some things that are hard to understand, mostly because His ways are sometimes too complex, they just cannot be figured out; and if we try, we will only be more confused, by the time we think we know the answer!

This thing about fear, is not something dreadful or a bad thing, but something that gives us reverence, awe, and respect, for the One who Created us...

"For who can know the LORD'S thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever. Amen." (Romans 11:34-36 NLT)
