"Touched in the Head"

"Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood." (Psalms 119:118)

If you were offended by anything I said yesterday, then don't take it personal, it is only me and my way of expressing the things I don't like about the way this country is turning. That said, this verse speaks very pointedly towards that point; no pun intended! Let's take this whole thing about Climate Change, the great illusion that is being given to the younger generation, and the urgency they feel that something must be done. As if they don't have enough to worry about, now we are strapping the bomb of world destruction upon them and telling them that they need to raise their voices. God is the one in control! If there is anything that has prevented them from seeing that, it is the fact that they are taught that there is no God, the falsehood of evolution, and the complete abandonment of the sanctity of human life. Think about what this might look like from a Biblical point of view: as more and more people follow the way of the world, they are getting more and more dependent upon something that changes and that cannot be controlled. The whole point of what God is saying through David, is that there is no wisdom anymore being used to determine anything; everything is based upon falsehood, so the fact that anyone is even trying to be logical is not even important anymore, only that the deceit is still real and the false narrative continues to fuel their passions. The whole point about "Trodden Down," which is a way of expressing God's rejection of all those who error in their own stupidity, is a lot like the pot calling the kettle black; the rejection of God and His hand upon the world is making them more and more independent and lost to God. In other words, the more they express how hopeless they are, the more hopeless they become! What a strange set of affairs they are placing themselves into. It can only get taken so far, until there will be desperation and the will to force things to happen, regardless of any rule of law. Basically, the point David is trying to make, is that there will be no regard for right or wrong, because there is no real desire for wisdom; everything becomes about emotions and what feels good or what makes people feel good. If it feels good do it, is not what we want to rule the day; yet it seems to be the thing that everyone is rising to. I have a good feeling about this, so it must be right...

"This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) NLT
