"Taken By Force" -2

"Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood." (Psalms 106:37-38)

I am sorry for getting political, if that is what we are calling it; but we tend to allow ourselves to be ruled by whatever it is that gives us stuff. I was thinking about all the homeless people I see on the streets here in Redding, and how so many of them look like they have mental or spiritual issues. How is that so? Believe me, I am hardly an expert at anything, except maybe finding Termites; but it would seem to me that there is some kind of condition that the mind must have in order to tolerate the life of living on the streets. When you throw all rational thinking out the window, it makes room for all sorts of alternative things to enter in, even spiritual darkness and demons. When I was listening to some clips from a few of the democrats yesterday day, as they were commenting on the Presidents speech, I truly believe that is what has happened to them. The force that we want to be taken by is the Holy Spirit; it is God's Spirit that must rule over our lives, and anything that prevents that from taking place must be defeated. If we fail to allow Him to change us, then whatever else we are allowing to control our lives will be what changes us, not God. That's is a pretty scary thought, but it is true. The children of Israel are our example of this; they show us what happens when we take God's control over us away and give it over to something else. Things can get really sideways, really quick! There is a spiritual battle being waged, not only here in America, but throughout the entire world. The devil knows that his time is getting short, and he is really ramping up the fires. For me, this is good news. I am looking for Jesus to come and snatch His church off of this earth; each and every day we draw nearer and nearer towards that day. Did you not get that feeling? Do you not believe He is coming soon? That is what 'Rapture' means, to be taken by force, and that is what will happen to those who are alive and remain, we will be snatched up...

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) NLT
