"No Other One!"

"Be Thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given commandment to save me; for Thou art my rock and my fortress." (Psalms 71:3) I am sure without a doubt that these are the days of the Lord's return; I have seen too many old saints either be taken up or taken down; it's starting to get a little frustrating to watch. You have no doubt heard that there are some who teach that Jesus had already came, like back in 70 AD, or something of the sort. Don't be fooled by such foolish teachings, but instead, read your Bibles and verify everything you are taught. You are equipped with the ability to discern the truth, if the truth is what you seek; that is one of the fruits of the Spirit, and it seems to be one that is not being used much by many of the current generation of believers. I can't quite wrap my head around it, but there seems to be more and more that just want to attend church, instead of wanting to be the church; because if we are of the Body of Christ, then we really do not have a choice, we are the Church! And guess what that means: If we are the Church, then we had better want to be the Church! In this verse there are so many 'solid' truths that need to be held onto; especially for those that are seasoned saints, who are the ones that seem to just stick around for the sake of sticking around. God has given us so much grace, it is easy to take it for granted some times; but one thing is for sure, He never runs out! We might quit trying before God quits providing, because, as far as I can tell, God never will quit on us, never! I particularly like the part about "Thou hast given commandment to save me," because it shows how serious God is when it comes to saving us. But if you need a little more proof, then there is only One place you need to look... "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when He held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for He was looking ahead and including them in what He would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate His righteousness, for He Himself is fair and just, and He declares sinners to be right in His sight when they believe in Jesus." (Romans 3:23-26) NLT
