"Every high priest is a man chosen to represent other people in their dealings with God. He presents their gifts to God and offers sacrifices for their sins. And he is able to deal gently with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is subject to the same weaknesses. That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs.
"And no one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was. That is why Christ did not honor himself by assuming he could become High Priest. No, he was chosen by God, who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father." And in another passage God said to him, "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."
"While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God. Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. And God designated him to be a High Priest in the order of Melchizedek." (Hebrews 5:1-10 NLT)
"For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me." (Psalms 69:9 KJV)
As you should know, I have several times shared about my growing up, off and on, going to the Kingdom Hall. My mom and stepdad were always falling off the wagon, getting excommunicated from being part of that fellowship; so, we would end up moving to another area, where they could try again, finding another Kingdom Hall to fellowship in. I don't think that would work in today's world, seeing how everything is tracked and placed upon the web.
There was something that I had believed, based upon the things I was told about Jesus, who He actually was, and whether or not He was actually without sin. My mom had told me several times that Jesus was not without sin, because He lost His temper, twice, in the Temple.
We know that Jesus was cleansing the Temple, because they had turned it into a 'Den of Thieves'. What is the point to this? and why bring it up? Because Jesus was perfect in every way...
"And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves." (Matthew 21:12-13 KJV)
