"So the Word became Human" - 2.0

"So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory; the glory of the Father's one and only Son." (John 1:14 NLT)

"Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and the needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight." (Psalms 72:11-14 KJV)

I cannot explain well enough what power and strength was demonstrated upon that cross. I doubt any human being could even pretend to explain what really took place; because what was demonstrated on earth is just a ripple of what was taking place in heaven! We must remember something that is remarkable and very important: DO NOT MAKE LIGHTLY OF GOD'S SACRIFICE!

Is it really such a big deal, as to whether or not Jesus Christ was God? Wow, let me think about that, and let me see if I can think of something relative to that question. Oh, I know: Is it a big deal for this planet to be kept a safe distance from the sun? Maybe not good enough! How about the difference between a man dying on that cross, and God taking our punishment? Could a man's death upon the cross make all that much of a difference?

At some time or another we need to get serious about what we are trying to say! How serious was God to save us? The Bible says that He planned this before the foundations of the world were even in place; so I can imagine that He put quite a bit of thought into what He was going to do. What could you do differently, if you were planning to save thousands of thousands of souls? What kind of sacrifice could be compared to that which God provided?

I know for a fact that I cannot convince anyone that is not willing to accept the truth; this is not only proven to be so, but it is also written within the Scriptures: "We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments." (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NLT) This is a spiritual matter, that must be taken on with the Spirit!

There was a pretty interesting message I heard the other day, it was about the fact that there are only two kingdoms: the kingdom of Light, and the kingdom of darkness. As I thought about how that might be so, I was challenged to consider the difference between those that are heavenly minded, and those that are worldly, or earthly minded. It is really hard to comprehend what difference that might make, unless we are talking about the spiritual aspect of what really matters.

Just so you know, if you cannot see the truth, then there is a solution...

"Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God."" (John 3:3 NLT)
