"The Witness"

"There was a man sent from God, whose name was John." (John 1:6 KJV)

"And it cam to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: and she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." (Luke 1:41-45 KJV)

Besides this, there are many other instances where life before birth are spoken of in the Bible; but this one section of Scripture is a remarkable illustration of God's calling upon a person's life, even before that person is brought forth into the world. That is most comforting to know how this works, because there are certain times we need to be encouraged, especially when we doubt that we really matter at all, in this crazy life here upon the earth.

I have used this Scripture many times to defend that there is life in the womb; that the person who lives inside of any woman is already a life, just waiting to be released out into the world. There is further proof today that life actually does start at the moment of conception; although, the powers to be are not letting that proof be widely spread. I have heard, that at the moment of conception, there is light that is sparked inside of the womb, and in that moment, life is begun.

It is just a hunch, but I would venture to say, that is the making of an eternal soul. But then again, what do I know about anything? I have always wondered if you could measure the weight of someone that is dying, and if the machine used could measure the bodies weight down to a milligram of weight, if there would be any change at the time of death. Is it even possible to tell? or would that too be explained away as only dead weight?

Anywho, this is more than just about life within the womb; this is about the man that is in the womb and his ability to know something prior to being born! Yes, you heard me right: this is showing that John, although not yet even taking his first breath, actually knew and could acknowledge the presence of the Lord! The one of whom he was being sent to proclaim, has just entered into the house, and he leaped for joy!

Might I step out on a limb, as if I need anyone's permission; but what I think of any of this is really quite simple to understand: An eternal soul is a life! As a matter of fact, the soul is more of a life than is this temporary body! And if I may, that would explain many different things about what we witness in the future, because the eternal soul has the ability to see things that have not yet taken place.

Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don't...

""Students are not greater than their teacher, and slaves are not greater than their master. Students are to be like their teacher; and slaves are to be like their master. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, the members of my household will be called by even worse names! "But don't be afraid of those who threaten you. For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. What I tell you in the darkness, shout abroad when daybreak comes. What I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops for all to hear! "Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell."" (Matthew 10:24-28 NLT)
