"The King of Glory!"

"Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee." (Psalms 68:29) Another thing that is up to God is where he establishes his temple, the place where he is worshiped. Jerusalem is a pretty interesting place, if you study where it is located and how it came about; besides being a story of transformation, it still has more history to be brought to life there, quite a bit more. It is believed that Jesus will reign here at Jerusalem during "The thousand year reign of Christ"; and during that time, all the kingdoms of the world will make their way to Jerusalem to worship him. This will be the doing of the Lord God Almighty, and that is that! Just like that, the world will be turned from chaos to a place of peace, and it will remain that way for a thousand years. People have prayed for world peace and have aspired to see it happen, but, it also is up to God! Besides that, the devil is bound for those thousand years, so truth will reign also upon the earth. What a difference truth will make upon the earth; at least for those thousand years, until the devil is released; and then he will quickly spread his lies, and the nations of the earth will again gather against the Lord. What is up with that? Are people really that stupid? Unfortunately, yes! But God wins! So guess what that means for those people that are on the earth; they are still faced with a choice: Will I serve God, or will I serve the devil? There can only be one King of Glory, and the devil is not Him! This is not a game! I was reminded of this yesterday as we were starting to get into Deuteronomy 20, and as Pastor Bryan used verse one to illustrate the point of how serious this battle actually is, and how powerful our God is to overcome...
"When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you!" NLT
