"God is the True King"

PSALMS 96
"O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto to LORD, all the earth." (Verse One)
As if that was not reason enough, now we get to experience the King who actually does live for ever. To the point of whether or not we can be that perfect man or woman that God has created us to be, the answer to that is in the fruit that is produced in our lives. I heard a message the other day that spoke to this, and the point of the message was about not looking at others for the evidence of the fruit that we should produce; each of us are given our own amount of talents to work with, and he who is given much, is expected to produce much. We should focus on what God has given us, and then double it! Yes, it's true, some days my mind just wonders from place to place. That said, what we have got to get hold of is the fact that God's kingdom is already established. I know we tend to think that it's soon to be, or that God is still making preparations for it to come about; but soon enough we will see the King, and what we will discover is that His throne has been there for ever and for ever more. Speaking of childlike faith, how about the fact that we are all children of the King? If you are a child of the King, then what does that make you? Yes, indeed, you are a prince or a princess! As if the talents were not enough, now you are talking about talents of royalty. That is more than just a coin or a piece of something, it is part of the Kingdom; it is special, and it is something that is not of this world, so we should not treat it as if it was. Maybe I am not getting my point across; because I sense there is some sort of disconnect between what I want to say and what I am saying. The treasure that has been distributed to us, His children, His royal family, this is His own special treasure, not found anywhere else, not able to be replicated, and not able to be removed. We hold in our possession a treasure that is connected to a Kingdom, one that has been established since before the foundations of the earth. That kind of gives some sort of power to the message that needs to be shared, right? I mean, if you are looking for a little motivation to be able to spread the Gospel, then the value of what you have to share must be more important than anything else on earth...
""Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the LORD! He is most worthy to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the LORD made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and joy fill his dwelling."" (1 Chronicles 16:23-27) NLT
