"They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet." (John 9:17 KJV)
"For we don't live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it's to honor the Lord. And if we die, it's to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Christ died and rose again for this very purpose - to be Lord both of the living and of the dead." (Romans 14:7-9 NLT)
As it might appear, saying Jesus is a Prophet, should account for something; at least he puts Jesus in the position of being a Man of God. It's a first step, but it does not quite reach high enough! Jesus must be Lord! He is the Lord of ALL! As I have heard Pastor Mike say, again and again, "All in the Greek, means, ALL!"
I have settled this firmly in my heart and mind, as I did from the very beginning. There might have been some short period of times when I had some doubt, but those were only brief times along the way, where old thoughts and misguided fables had blinded my heart. That is a real thing, in case you might now have known it. We can be deceived by our old nature, by our lack of obedience, and by our failure to speak out on behalf of our Lord, Christ Jesus!
In these last days, we that are the body of Christ, need to become bold and let our voices be heard! It is a time of commitment and loyalty to the KING! We should expect persecution, because the world hates Jesus, so the world will hate what we have to say about Him.
Listening to Jan's message Saturday, the Mid-Tribulation believers are declaring that the Tribulation has already begun or is beginning to be fulfilled. There is a very big difference between persecution of the church and the wrath of God! Yes, there will be a multitude of believers that come out of the Tribulation, most of which will be of Israel and of Jewish descent. Or so I have been told.
Those that are currently here, that are the body of Christ, will not be subject to God's wrath: God does not pour out His wrath on the church! Those that are either non-believers or unfaithful will be left behind with all the wicked, but many will be saved during the Tribulation; but they will be giving up their lives in the process.
I really don't want to be here for that! It is better to serve Him now, that the choice is rather easy, than to confess Him then, while you are getting ready to be killed...
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ: and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV)
