"But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself." (John 9:21 KJV)
"Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them." (Titus 3:9-11 NLT)
As we can determine by the tone, these parents of the blind guy, that now can see, have no desire to bring attention to themselves; even though, they could be a great testimony to a powerful work, something that is spoken of and know by all that are familiar with the Scriptures. Isaiah 42:7 is one of many that speak to this, as it would be a sign of the Chosen One!
Well, as it turns out, even if you think you can handle the pressure, you are not really as strong as you might think that you are. If you doubt what I just said, look at Peter's testing, as he was warned what would happen, announced his loyalty to Jesus, and then went ahead and denied knowing Him, not just once, but three times.
Which one of those seeds do you think he represented? Care to wager that he represented all three! I have too many things swirling around in my head to bring this to any sort of sensible sentence; but we must be aware of something very unique to the normal life of the Redeemed: bad things that happen, somehow get turned to good!
I have one thing to say about this, whether you want to believe it or not. Just about every major character in the Bible has something bad involved in their lives. In one way or another, there was some sort of bad thing that they are associated with, including Jesus Christ! Not that He did anything wrong, because He was sinless, but really bad things happened to Him!
I know, you can say whatever you want about me, because I really don't care! From this point on, I really only want to answer to One...
"You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies." (1 Corinthians 15:36 BSB)
