"And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day." (John 6:39 KJV)
"For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory." (Colossians 3:3-4 KJV)
Maybe it might not appear that God is winning, but there are more important things to be dealt with than this physical life that we get to deal with. Not sure if you were aware, but this little blue ball is filled with molten lava; and circling a big giant ball of fire! We can pretend it doesn't matter, but just a little adjustment in our rotation, and this place is toast. FYI.
Having thought about certain aspects of this life, way too yearly in my own childhood, I have given quite a lot of thought to things that are wrong and that could go wrong. For example: the oil that is taken out of the ground, and sometimes replaced with ocean water; What's to say that it might be lubricant for the plates, which sometimes move? My mom believed that it was made from dead dinosaurs; but I think it was just something God put between the layers of rock and soil, just to absorb a little vibrations.
And then, there is all of this nonsense about carbon dating; as if God's creation started as a new born planet! Did God make Adam a little baby, which grew up into a man? If so, what was Eve created as, because whatever she was, she needed to fit the size of one of Adam's ribs! No, it is more than just the dating, it is the quest to imagine that God does not exist; one layer at a time, they peal away at the onion, only to discover, every single layer cries out, "There is a GOD!"
Now, there is this other little mess we have gotten ourselves into; something that was heavy upon my heart, about the time of Richard Nixon's impeachment. It's something that is becoming a little more noticeable; yet, back it the 70's, all my friends thought I took one too many hits of acid. It is called the Supply Chain; basically, it is the process to bring food and supplies into the heavily populated cities, most of which have no way to produce that which they need.
Be that as it may, I still don't worry! God is still on the throne, and in complete control! This place might be spinning out of control, but it can't really go too far. What do you think holds it all together? Our God has some mighty big hands...
"O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou them all: the earth is full of thy riches." (Psalms 105:24 KJV)
