"God Set Eternity in the Heart of Man"

   "Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.

  "And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken away from it. God's purpose is that people should fear him. What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again." (Ecclesiastes 3:11-15 NLT)

 "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment, let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." (1 Timothy 6:7-12 KJV) 

 Before I dive into this, somewhat wonderful illustration, I just want to remind anyone who doesn't get it: This is the Word of God! I can understand why many will judge Solomon's motives, as if he has a choice in the presentation, because I truly believe that he was led by the Spirit of God, in everything that he has written. 

 We must not forget; God blessed him with great wealth and glory, more than he could obviously handle! But in God's way of doing things, what man does on his own, is sometimes God's doing...
