"Really Safe"

"And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left." (Psalms 106:11)

I don't think we realize just how easy God has made His salvation and redemption accessible to us. By the way many of us live our lives, you would think that it was something that we were still looking for to be realized in our lives. As I was listening to a few questions that were called into the program yesterday, there are quite a few people out there that don't spend very much time in their Bibles; many of which, still want to be held bound to the law. It is really not that hard to see why that is, because we are always prone to look for ways that we need to contribute to our salvation; if we don't do something, then it doesn't feel as though we have earned it. Oh, but we can't! We can't earn it no matter how hard we try to contribute to it, it has all been paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ, every last bit of it! You can't make this up! This is why Isaiah said in Isaiah 53:1, "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" It is not something that we can just accept to be that easy; there is always something we feel that needs to be added, just to make it out to be more real, more tangible, something we can mount on the wall. There is one thing that I have discovered about how God does things, He does not leave anything half done! He does not leave anything He does unfinished; we simply only need to walk in the victory that He has done, and quite trying to have our own little wars and show forth our own victories; we just need to walk in His...

"He killed the oldest son in each Egyptian family, the flower of youth throughout the land of Egypt. But he led his own people like a flock of sheep, guiding them safely through the wilderness. He kept them safe so they were not afraid; but the sea covered their enemies. He brought them to the border of his holy land, to this land of hills he had won for them. He drove out the nations before them; he gave them their inheritance by lot. He settle the tribes of Israel into their homes."
(Psalms 78:51-55) NLT
