"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13 KJV)
""Write this letter to the angel of the church of Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars. "I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive - but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. I find your actions do not meet the requirements of my God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don't wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief."" (Revelation 3:1-3 NLT)
There is something going on all around us, something that is gearing up for some kind of a big event. I can feel it, much like the waves that were caused by that massive earthquake in Russia, yesterday. But what do I know? I'm just someone waiting for the Lord to take me home!
When Jesus says, "I know all the things you do," He is not joking! He knows all things! When the lady at the checkout stand gives you too much change back, and you don't say anything, put it your pocket, and walk away; He sees that! Basically, that is stealing, because the money did not belong to you.
That is just a simple observation of what we sometimes do. But there are several things we do that are taken note of; much of which is about lies and gossip, which are a couple of things the Lord doesn't want to see us doing. We must watch over ourselves, and quit judging others, as if we are comparing what others do, so we don't feel all that guilty.
But who am I to speak; no matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to stop judging people by the way they drive...
"Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again - rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise." (Philippians 4:4-8 NLT)
