"Keep Holding On"

"For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;" (Hebrews 3:14 KJV)

"Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad - for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world." (1 Peter 4:12-13 NLT)

Then again, sometimes we might not get the opportunity to comfort each other; as it goes, sometimes we are dealing with things that cause us to be too busy with our own issues, we don't have the time to deal with anyone else; or so it goes.

By the way, it might sound strange to some, but putting your own issues aside to help others, might be the thing that makes you least worried about yourself! God is more than able to take care of your issues, as He always has in the past. Think least about yourself and more about others!

I know quite a few people that will say that is a stupid thing to do. 'If you don't care for yourself, how can you care for others?' is what they say. There are certain things I know that I must do, and then there are certain things I know I need to not do: worrying about something that is happening in my life, is not one of the things I should do...

""Go out and stand before me on the mountain," the LORD told him. And as Elijah stood there, the LORD passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And a voice said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"" (1 Kings 19:11-13 NLT)
