"Beyond The Grave!" - Too

"And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." (Hebrews 2:15 KJV)

"Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful." (Colossians 3:12-15 NLT)

Besides all of the reasons we have for being thankful, the major point in this story is the life we have waiting on the other side! How many times I think of my wife, as she lays there in her bed, waiting for her perfect body, her perfect mind, that has been promised her; as I tell her over and over, she will be healed, one way or another!

Make every effort to remember what Jesus has done, not just what He did on the cross, but how He rose again, how He spent 40 days walking around, showing Himself to all those that would be spreading the Good News! This is more than just a story, it is a fact! So, if you have any doubt, whatsoever, put these things first and foremost at the front of your mind, knowing that this is for real, and then securing them, as if in a vault, which can never be challenged.

That said, I know we have tendencies to drift off, thinking there could be some doubt; but that is where faith needs to be stronger than what we actually see. We see life in this world, as if it what it is, but in the walk of faith, there is so much more; more than we could ever imagine...

"And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies that come from human thinking and from spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority." (Colossians 2:6-10 NLT)
