"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." (Jude 6 KJV)
"O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I am far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!" (PSALM 139:1-6 NLT)
I really wasn't expecting to have many agree with what I was saying yesterday, because everyone has God planning for a perfect world when He created the garden and placed man in it. Oddly enough, the cross of Christ and His salvation for the entire world was established and planned out, even before the world began. So there must have been a reason, as it is, God knows the beginning and the end!
It has been said the Lucifer rebelled against God because of God's plan when He decided to make man in His own image; more than that, it was God's plan to have man judge the angels; which really made the devil jealous of man. He had also tried hard to prevent Christ Jesus from being born and providing salvation for the entire earth by being crucified on the cross!
As I have said several times before, the cross of Christ is imaged in so many things, both small and big! There is an image of the cross in the black hole, which is way out in space. There is an image of the cross next to every cell that within us; which is a cell call Laminin and is a cell adhesion molecule that holds us together! When it says in the Bible that Jesus holds all things together, it is no joke!
There are several more illustrations to be made, but this is primarily all about love! God did not create us as puppets or robots, that we would follow His every command. He knew firsthand that He had to make a way that we would love Him, by first doing the most amazing thing, ever! That was the act of being born as one of us, living among us, and hanging on a cross to free us from sin; that we would love Him, because He first loved us, and proved it on the cross...
"God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love - not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." (1 John 4:9-10 NLT)
