"The Abiding One"

"And I bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him." (John 1:32 KJV)

"Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loosed, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." (Daniel 3:24-25 KJV)

Amazing facts, if you are looking for more proof: God is the Author of the Bible! Yes, He might have used men to write down the words, but the words that were written were the Word of God; which, by the way cannot be abolished or made to disappear, no matter how hard it has been tried. Having listened to so many different examples of how impossible it is for the prophecies to have been fulfilled, it makes any argument against it's origin totally useless and void of the truth.

As to the closing Scripture from yesterday, if you might have been wondering what it meant: those that have been truly saved, and truly saved, indeed; there is no way God's rebirth in a person can be undone! If you will, Nicodemus had the right idea, saying, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" (John 3:4) If you stop and think about, it is impossible for anyone to undo the birth of a child; you might stop the birth of a child through an abortion, but even then, if life begins at conception, the life has already been formed!

Food for thought, if you are searching for answers to why. Besides that, Jesus acknowledged the real reason when He said, ""Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."" (John 3:5-6) Take the fact of life having started, that can never be erased, and now apply that same law to the New Birth, one that is conceived in the Spirit, and now you have basically magnified the effect: the flesh is temporary, the spirit is eternal!

Anywho, this is about Him, the Abiding One! As the author has written, "In the beginning was the Word, that Word was with God, and the Word was God." So let it be written, so let it be done...

"I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." (Psalms 138:1-2 KJV)
