"The True Tabernacle" - 2

"A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man." (Hebrews 8:2 KJV)

"For we know that when this earthy tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made by God himself and not by human hands," (2 Corinthians 5:1 NLT)

So, just in case you missed to point, if we do not love our neighbor, as ourselves, then how is it possible that we love God? In other words, if we don't love those that we can obviously see and touch; how is it possible to love God, who we can't see or touch?

There really is some sort of a connection in all of this, because love is that which makes the entire story real and something worth sharing, because it is really all about love: Loving God and each other! So, who is your neighbor? Your neighbor is anyone and everyone that needs your help, your prayers, your time; you name it, whatever we can do and are led to do, as Jesus clearly says: 'Love God and love each other!'

Anywho, that said, the true tabernacle that is in heaven, which the Lord pitched, (meaning that He has constructed it on His own), is also something that which involves us, in these temporary tents! We are really better off being taken the moment we are saved, but what good would that do, if we cannot prove to one another the love God has given to all of us...

"We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion - how can God's love be in that person? Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God. Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything." (1 John 3:16-20 NLT)
