"Proof of Perfection"

"For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore." (Hebrews 7:28 KJV)

"Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, "I am thirsty." A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, "It is finished!" Then he bowed his head and released his spirit." (John 19:28-30 NLT)

Sometimes we just need proof of the things which make us doubt; having dealt with doubt, many times over, I have discovered that my heart is more convinced than my mind is, because I have totally and completely felt the love involved in this incredible message of the cross. You really cannot imagine any greater love than what Jesus demonstrated, being the sacrifice for the sins of the entire world.

When we see that Jesus said, "It is finished", the entire work surely wasn't complete, actually, it still is not; but the redemption of all mankind was made perfect: anyone that will receive God gift of perfection, can now have fellowship with God! This was God's plan from the very beginning! And I have said it more than once, that God did not say the second day of creation was good; because on the second day, before He made man, He created the divide by making Heaven!

Whether or not you agree, it really doesn't matter; because man was going to sin, as God fully knew that he would. But it was always God's plan to provide for a way to have fellowship with man, who was made in His image. The big difference between God and man, was that He was perfect, and man was not! But, His big, beautiful plan, was made perfect on that cross! Sin was no longer a part of us, and it had been removed by the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

From the moment Jesus died on that cross, the penalty for the sins of the entire world were upon God's perfect Sacrifice, the Lamb of God, who took away the sins of the world...

"Let me remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is the Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you - unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said." (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NLT)
