"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV)
"This boasting will do no good, but I must go on. I will reluctantly tell about visions and revelations from the Lord. I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don't know - only God knows. Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do know that I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell." (2 Corinthians 12:1-4 NLT)
I heard a message the other day about time, which involved music and notes, that everything in music is set to time, based on timing, and even the notes are orientated by time. Imagine what it might be like in heaven, where time does not exist; what kind of music should we expect to hear? How could you express music, if time was not the substance of the notes?
To make this something short and sweet, due to time restrictions: God has given us a very limited view of what He has created! When I first was in the Pest Control Industry, we were hearing things like the earth was 2 billion years old, based upon science. Before I knew it, the earth became 6 billion years old, due to evolution of the insects, which science has discovered to be too complex, and they needed more time to evolve.
I know it sounds hard to believe, but if God has done all of this, He was not in need of any time to do it...
"Yet when I am among mature believers, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world or to the rulers of this world, who are soon forgotten. No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God - his plan that was hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. That is what the Scripture means when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." But it was to us God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God's deep secrets." (1 Corinthians 2:6-10 NLT)
