"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV)
""We cannot look at the sun, for it shines brightly in the sky when the wind clears away the clouds. So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor. We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us. No wonder people everywhere fear him. All who are wise show him reverence."" (Job 37:21-24 NLT)
I wish I could say that I understand how God can love me like He does, but I don't! When someone will ask me how I know God is real, my first reaction is to point to the cross; my second reaction, is to point to myself, saying, "He did that for me!"
As to the message that Solomon gets to express, every thing made by God, He made beautiful; that includes the one that has turned and tried to fight against Him. They say that Satan did what he did, because he was jealous of what God was going to do for us, as if man being the judge of angels, was more than he could take, being he was a beautiful and mighty angel.
The NLT has this verse showing a little different perspective, based upon man looking to God, but here, in this perspective, God is the one looking out for man! The point of time, although it is true that there is a time for everything, God's time is what matters most! He has planted eternity in the human heart, because the heart of man was meant to be connected to His heart: we were born to worship God!
But God has given man free will, which makes man have to choose to worship and love Him, instead of Him making us into something that has no choice. There is no greater feeling in the world than the way it feels when we are in fellowship with God! There is no fear, no need to know the things we do not know, no reason to need things we do not have; just His fellowship alone is all we need or want, for we have been made complete in Him!
This is what we have by choosing to love our Creator, the greatest experience of all...
"Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the LORD'S thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen." (Romans 11:33-36 NLT)
