"Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee. For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galileans receive him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast." (John 4:43-45 KJV)
"The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret." (Daniel 2:47 KJV)
Well, it turns out that I am not well; so this post may lack a certain luster. Just so you know, this is by far the most I have yet felt as if I should skip this for today, but if I skip it once, then it is easy enough to do it again. So here you have it, something is better than nothing.
The verse from Daniel is just a little something to remind us what an amazing and awesome God we serve. God is never going to leave us; we might walk away from Him, but He is always right here, waiting for us to turn towards Him...
"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it, For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words. in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:34-38 KJV)
