"Seeing Him!"

"By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible," (Hebrews 11:27 KJV)

"That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't k look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NLT)

It seems that there might be something familiar in this message, especially the part about "he endured." If you think about it, basically means that he was patiently waiting for something, which, if you really know how that might look, it requires a person to be strong and steadfast; knowing that we have a purpose.

I really don't know how to say this, but there is no other way that I can see myself, then by seeing that which I cannot see! There is nothing that can compare to the glory that we will experience when we are in the home where we are going; nothing we can even imagine. Yet, it is that which cannot be seen that makes us patiently wait, longing for that which we hope for; getting stronger in our spirit, the closer we get to that day, which seems to be closer and closer.

If you remember the challenge Moses had, when the LORD asked him to go and deliver His people; he had several excuses as to why he wasn't able to do what God wanted him to do. Yet, it was not long into the challenge, once he stood before Pharoh, he realized that he was right where he was meant to be; which not only gave him confidence, but gave him a certain boldness, as he spoke for God.

Yesterday I heard a message from a Pastor that was sharing about his first encounter as the beginning of his ministry, when God asked him to confront a certain person. What started with just a simple task of sharing the Good News with someone, became a very big deal, for hundreds of people. Nobody really knows the results of what that might look like, but just that one small thing, doing what God asked him to do, became something amazingly big!

If the LORD tells you to do something, He is opening a door that cannot be shut; it is a door that opens to many more doors, doors that are not even visible...

""The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, 'Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more,' "The Master was full of praise. 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!'"" (Matthew 25:20-21 NLT)
