"We Only Die Once!"

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Hebrews 9:27 KJV)

"God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God's wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them death, now God's wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 5:20-21 NLT)

As there is only once that we get to die on this earth, the death that accrued to was when we accepted Christ, was the final death we would go through; not including this tent that is called a body! The death of this tent is bound to happen; but we will be still alive and will just be moving on, to be with the Lord! To anyone that can't really believe that is true, I pray that you totally and completely make it true in your heart, and you not only believe it is so, but that you also have peace and hope for when it might happen!

This is really what our faith is meant for: To really positively believe that we have been given eternal life and that when our time comes, we will absolutely be with the Lord! If you don't really believe that, then what are you really looking for? If we can't really trust in what Jesus has guaranteed to us and what this salvation is all about, then what are we doing, accept wasting our time, playing church!

Nothing is more important than the salvation that we have been given; it is the whole reason that Jesus came down from Heaven to die on the cross, so that we could be saved and have eternal life with Him and the Father! That was the plan all along! And it was totally successful...

"Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask." Jesus told her, "Your brother will rise again." "Yes," Martha said, "he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day." Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believe in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this, Martha?" "Yes, Lord," she told him. "I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come into the world from God."" (John 11:21-27 NLT)
