"Your Soul Belongs to God!" - 2

 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." (Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV)

  "God says, "Rebuild the road! Clear away the rocks and stones so my people can return from captivity." The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: "I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I retore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away - all the souls I have made. I was angry, so I punished these greedy people. I withdrew from them, but they kept going on their own stubborn way. I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far," says the LORD, who heals them. "But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt. There is no peace for the wicked," says my God." (Isaiah 57:14-21 NLT)

 And, here is the thing that will cause many to feel ashamed and very disappointed! The things which might be seen in those other books, will be those things connected to the lost, those who have rejected God's free gift of salvation. Yes, we will be a testimony to what could have been; as those who rejected God grace and mercy, will see what their rejection ultimately will cost them.

 I believe this is so, based upon what Jesus told Nicodemus, "But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants." (John 3:21 NLT) As well as what Paul says, "So God can point to us in all the future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 1:7 NLT) 

 Whatever you believe about God's mercy and grace, He goes far beyond our failure to obey and love Him as we should! He knows full well that we are not always going to be faithful and do what is right, which is the reason He sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sins. I truly believe we I get in Heaven, there will be so many that I didn't expect to see there, and many more that I expected to see, but did not make it. 

 That said, there is only one reason for those two discrepancies: Did you really believe that He loves you...

"All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death. We know that God's children do not make a practice of sinning, for God's Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under control of the evil one. And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God's place in your hearts." (1 John 5:17-21 NLT)
