"For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others." (Ecclesiastes 7:22 KJV)
""Do Not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged."" (Matthew 7:1-2 NLT)
Alright then, what do we say to this? Something to think about, if you are interested in what makes for good conversation. By the way, I am deeply concerned about Prop 34 and whether or not it should get a yes or a no vote; but all my Christian brothers and sisters are saying it needs to be 'Yes.'
There is something which seems very demonic about this bill, (as if there are not others that are too,) because if there is a way to start taking the liberty away from non-profits to spend or use the money they receive, then where will it stop, and how much will be taken from anyone else that might do something which the government does or can do?
To me, it seems as if it is a Trojan Horse, which opens the door for regulations to be placed on any non-profit, whether they receive assistance or not. One of the main issues that I see are the safe places for unwed mothers, anti-abortion clinics, and facilities that care for people in need. All of which the powers-to-be either want to control or regulate or eliminate all together.
What caught my attention was the things happening in North Carolina, while non-profits were showing up to help, the government was slowing them down or trying to stop them; even though they couldn't really take care of it themselves, they didn't want non-governmental agency doing their job!
It's a lot like the wildfires that might get started on government land; the Care Fire was one which could have been stopped immediately, because there was a bulldozer at hand. But because it was owned by the US Government, Cal Fire was not allowed to stop it with the equipment that would have done the trick.
This is me judging, so I guess I will be judged accordingly! Well, I have judged many things in my life, some of which I am deeply sorry for, especially loved ones! There is a portion of chapter 21, of the Book of Revelation, where is says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." Why would we be crying? and for what would we feel judged...
"People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!" (James 3:7-10 NLT)
