"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." (John 14:7 KJV)
"Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven." (Hebrews 1:1-3 NLT)
Just to be clear, I was not trying to say we are at liberty to do whatever we want, thinking that everything will be fine, because there must be a changed heart in us that lives for God. We are just not going to be totally complete until we have been glorified in Heaven; until then, we are still working on loving God with all we got, and trying to love one another, as we love ourselves.
Our Father knows full well what we are capable of and those things that make us stumble; He has more than enough mercy to continue forgiving us, each time we mess up. Additionally, His Son, our Lord and Savior, is standing there at His right hand, making intersession for the stupid things we do; which is the grace that is poured out upon us, giving us the righteousness that we do not deserve!
There are some things that are just too hard for us to comprehend, many of which are things that we will not know until we see God in glory. Until then, we must pay attention to what we have been given, and except what it is, without adding to it! Believe it or not, but that is really hard to do! Constantly I hear the message, "Speak where the Bible speaks; be silent where the Bible is silent." That works only when the person speaking does not have an opinion about a particular topic!
As for the verse above, there is nothing stopping me from the topic of God's Oneness; as He has made it abundantly clear: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." (Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV) As it has been stated, it has been stated; therefore, it has not been silent! God is One, there is nothing to debate, because He has made it abundantly clear.
We can try to imagine what that might look like, but the best way to describe that, would be by using the Holy Scriptures...
"Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."" (Matthew 28:18-20 NLT)
