"Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come." (John 7:30 KJV)
"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do my pleasure." (Isaiah 46:9-10 KJV)
I was reminded yesterday about a couple of verses in Job38:22-23, where God asked Job, "Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?" It has been a long time, but I shared on this way back in the beginning of this blog.
As a quick reminder, what I spoke about was the timing of discovery, and the time when there was the first World War: the end of the 1800's through the beginning of the 1900's was the time when there was magnification strong enough to actually see the spectacular beauty of snowflakes and hail. If you have a chance to google that, you will see what I mean.
Some short period of time before World War One, this spectacular beauty was able to be photographed and put on display. Additionally, while on display, they could be found to be apparently different from one another, as if there were no two snowflakes that were alike. That lead to the publication of what was called "The Snow Crystals" as they were displayed as absolute treasures.
The crazy part of this story is what causes the snowflake to be made, as it is caused by an explosion. If you really stop to think about what that represents, or could be associated with, it is that the water particles are changed so quickly, that they explode in the atmosphere, becoming a spectacular thing of beauty.
Anywho, this is about timing, as God has specific times when things will happen, and certain times when they will not! This was not yet the time for Jesus to be taken, and there was really nothing that anyone could do to change that, whatsoever...
"You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains. Our boldest enemies have been plundered. They lie before us in the sleep of death. No warrior could lift a hand against us. At the blast of your breath, O God of Jacob, their horses and chariots lay still. No wonder you are greatly feared! Who can stand before you when your anger explodes? From heaven you sentenced your enemies; the earth trembled and stood silent before you. You stand up to judge those who do evil. O God, and to rescue the oppressed of the earth. Interlude
"Human defiance only enhances your glory, for you use it as a weapon. Make vows to the LORD your God, and keep them. Let everyone bring tribute to the Awesome One. For he breaks the pride of princes and the kings of the earth fear him." (Psalm 76:4-12 NLT)
