"The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him: and the Pharisees and chief priests sent officers to take him." (John 7:32 KJV)
"I said unto fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another." (Psalms 75:4-7 KJV)
Have you ever wondered where the wind ever comes from? I know that many people think that they have it all figured out, based upon their predictions and barometric pressure, the tide and the moon, or what who knows whatever has to say about cause and effect. I, on the other hand, think it might be a little more spiritual than it is physical, less about the atmosphere, and more about theater.
Anyhow: seemingly the people murmuring was a sign that there was no one willing to make up their minds as to who Jesus was or where He came from. The powers to be, seemed as though this was the time to make the move, and try to arrest Him. Do Not Mess With God's Anointed! Hope you heard that, because it is whirlwind that you do not want to be involved in!
Really have no idea where that came from: No pun intended...
"The LORD is our God. His justice is seen throughout the land. He always stands by his covenant - the commitment he made to a thousand generations, This is a covenant he made with Abraham and a oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, and to the people of Israel as a never-ending covenant. "I will give you the land of Canaan as your special possession." He said this when they were few in number, a tiny group of strangers in Canaan. They wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. Yet he did not let anyone oppress them. He warned kings on their behalf: "Do not touch my chosen people, and do not hurt my prophets."" (Psalm 105:7-15 NLT)
