"What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? What is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?" (S.O.S. 5:9)
"What is so delicate that saying its name breaks it?" As much as I would like to, I do not feel as though my voice would matter; no one wants to hear the truth, because the truth makes them uncomfortable and have no real meaning or substance to what they hold dear. Besides, if we keep to ourselves and do not push it, we are freely able to move in and out of worldliness, without calling much attention to ourselves. Yea right, keep on dreaming Pilgrim; you are more exposed to those around than you know!
If you really want to know where you stand, as if you don't already know, there are a few questions that can help you when it comes to finding the answers, or answer, depending upon your condition. First of which: How important is it to you that Jesus died on the cross? That is not a trick question, and it really does not take you writing a book in order to explain your answer: It really comes down to six simple words, made into a proclamation, saying, He saved me from my sins! That is pretty much the reason to be so dedicated to this One: The Beloved, more important than all others!
The second thing that we must investigate within us, is that of your affectability. Now might be the time you think about what it means to be affected, because there are so many different things that affect us and makes us move in one direction or another. Basically, this is the second question being asked by those, whoever they are that are asking: Why should this affect my life? Who is this God, and why should it affect me to change anything in order to follow or look after Him?
"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find: knock, and it shall be opened unto you." (Luke 11:9)
Thirdly: How is your relationship to your Heavenly Father? That is important for you to know...
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8:14-15)
