"O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come." (Psalms 65:2) Obviously nobody can do that, we can only wonder and guess how everything holds together; or we can pretend that we know something about origin, and make up the way things are going to end. I think the point to all of that "rendering" stuff, is the simple fact that God will be praised in the end, no matter when and how, He will receive the glory that He deserves for all He has done; "every knee shall bow." (Isaiah 45:23; Romans 14:11) I can't help about those that are facing death, whether it be from terminal illness or just old age, and they do not know what their future holds; what goes through their minds as they ponder the mystery ahead? I really can't remember a time in my life when I did not believe in heaven; even before I was born again, I still believed that there was a God, and I still believed that there was a heaven to go to; I might not have believed that I was going there, but I never doubted that it was real. Whether you believe it or not, God will be glorified in the end, and you will give Him the glory that He deserves, whether you like it or not! Why not praise Him now while you have a choice? He is willing to save you, if you only would just trust Him and cry out for mercy; He is not willing that any should perish, so why put yourself through all that needless pain and suffering? Just believe...
"When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to Him. The Jesus told them, "The voice was for your benefit, not mine. The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself." He said this to indicate how he was going to die. The crowd responded, "We understood from the Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. How can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is this Son of Man, anyway?" Jesus replied, " My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light." After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them. But despite all the miraculous signs Jesus had done, most of the people still did not believe in Him." (John 12:29-37) NLT
