"Blessed is the man whom Thou choosest, and causest to approach unto Thee, that he may dwell in Thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, even of Thy holy Temple." (Psalms 65:4) If you don't think that nature is dependent upon God, think again. There is really so much in this one verse, I might need several days just to figure it all out; but then again, as far as man is concerned, we are just one breath away from finding out just how dependent we are on God's care for our lives. It might be more clear how much our lives depend upon God the closer we look at how complex our systems are; I mean, if you think the relativity of the distance between the earth and the sun are important, then you should examine how important your heartbeat is, or the function of your lungs. Is there really any difference as far as you are concerned, whether the earth were dissolve, or you were to drop dead any minute? God has more to do with holding us together than we might otherwise think. As far as this verses goes, I think the most meaningful point is that of "approach", because if it were not for God's mercy and grace, we would not have any chance of approach unto God. As simple as that might be to write about, it has more complexity than our simple minds could ever comprehend. Just the Holiness of God alone is more than we could ever understand; we surely could not come face to face with Him, at least not in these mortal bodies; talk about being dissolved, we would vaporize in His presence. But imagine what it will be like to actually be in His presence...
"I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, God's home is now among His people! He will live with them, and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." (Revelation 21:3-4)
