"Now when these things were ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God." (Hebrews 9:6 KJV)
""Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray, 'Father, save me from this hour'? But this is the very reason I came! Father, bring glory to your name."" Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying, "I have already brought glory to my name, and I will do so again." When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him. Then Jesus told them, "The voice was for your benefit, not mine. The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself."" (John 12:27-32 NLT)
Happiness and joy are really not the same, as most of us should already know. As we see here in this short picture of Jesus expressing His soul being deeply troubled, happiness was really not what He was trying to express; it was more about sadness about what would soon be happening. And yes, Jesus knew everything that would be happening, even the fact that He would have victory over death!
This might not seem as though it draws a perfect picture of the 'first tabernacle,' but in this crazy mind of mine, I really feel it will at least cast a small shadow to what it represents. As was explained before, this has the earthly condition, meaning that there is a condition we all have when we are born into this fallen world, a separation from God!
How this is something which matters to happiness and joy, really matters to your final outcome. If you truly believe that you are saved and will be going to heaven when this life is over, then joy will always be in your heart! Living though this life, may sometimes steal your happiness, which is something that is bound to happen, now and again; but joy is something that will stay in your heart, as long as you keep believing that you are going to the other side! Nothing can take away your joy...
"As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord's feet, listening to what he taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, "Lord, doesn't it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me." But the Lord said to her, "My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her."" (Luke 10:38-42 NLT)
