"I am that bread of life." (John 6:48 KJV)
"I speak to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread." (1 Corinthians 10;15-17 KJV)
Something to think about, as it is the Jews who Jesus is making a case to about this eternal life. Which is rather interesting, because the Time of Testing spoken of in the Old Testament is about God's awakening of His people Israel, not the Church. Just another interesting fact about what time the Rapture of the Church will take place, as if there might need to be a test given to the Lord's bride!
Think about this question: Who crucified Jesus, the Jews or the Romans? I know that the obvious answer is the Romans, as they carried out that which they we forced into doing; but if it were not for the Jews and their very persistent demand that He be crucified, Jesus would not have been hung on that cross! Who is the more guilty party, those that did what they were told, or those that wanted it done?
Very interesting prognosis! As I think about all of this craziness going on in the world, it hurts my heart to see those that are enforcers of the law having to choose sides in this heated situation. On the one hand, they know very well what is wrong and what is right; but they have sworn to uphold the law, even if they are torn doing so; because personal feelings do not count, when it comes to following orders.
One little caveat in this twisted situation, is the mandates to be vaccinated, because it then places the ones who do the enforcement into the circle of those that they enforce. I am looking for the Lord to be coming very soon! Are you? Please pray for those that are on your heart! Don't forsake the fellowship that you have with one another, and make sure you keep going to church!
This is the season of giving, so give it your all...
"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me." (1 Corinthians 11:24-25 KJV)
