"Holy Fermentation" -2
"For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them." (Psalms 75:8) Just in case you might not have gotten that message, it was that was God being dissatisfied with the connection between Heaven and earth. Every thing that God made, He made it good; it's just that some things were naturally not going to measure up to His degree of holiness; actually, they would fall measurably short. When God said, "Let us make man in our image," exactly what do you think He meant? I have heard the basics, about body, soul and spirit, and how God is three, therefore man has three parts also; but there is something else that God was speaking of also, and it has to do with fellowship. If the "cup" spoken of is God's grace, the "dregs" are all those things which case man to fall short of God's holiness. In other words, God pours out His grace upon everyone the same, there is absolutely no difference whatsoever. But, within the "mixture" God pours out, there are the things which offend mankind, things which cause man to separate themselves from God's holiness. This has nothing whatsoever to do with God and His holiness, but rather it is all man's inability to measure up and his inward desire to try to be like God. That was Satan's big lie, "You shall be like God once you eat thereof;" but in all reality, that could never happen, not even for him, even though he tried to proclaim it so. God pours out His grace upon all, but not all will receive, nor will they even accept it as grace; it actually offends them that God would even think that they need it. We really don't get how much God loves us! We can't see what He sees, or know what He knows. But what we can do, and what we must do, is to accept what He gives us; whatever that might be, and in all situations, we must accept that God grace is part of the equation. Those that refuse to accept God's grace and receive it, are the "wicked," of whom the cup has become a cup of wrath; wrath that is still holy, even though it is destructive, because it comes on the heals of grace. Can you see now why no one will have an answer? No one will have a defense on the day of judgment, because God is just to all... "For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see -such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ's blood on the cross." (Colossians 1:13-20) NLT
