"Confirmation"

"This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him." (John 2:11 KJV)

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, hath shinned in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV)

Basic is the truth of God's glory, as it is displayed in pretty much every single part of His creation. The same power that changed the water to wine, is the same power that called the light out of the darkness; that same power called the stars to appear  in the heavens, and spoke into existence all life that is upon this earth.

Oddly enough, the one thing which was different, was that He formed man from the earth's soil, and then breathed life into that which He formed. To be clear, it is not a mystery about what He made us for, as it has been made abundantly clear in the entire content of His Word; what is the mystery, is why He did not make us without a perfect love for Him: instead, He gave the will to make a choice!

This is simple enough to understand, but it is really hard make happen all by itself. In other words, He couldn't just speak us into existence, we had to be made to love Him on our own. It is really a lot like that word Paul uses in Ephesians 5:33, "reverence," spoken of a wife's responding love to her husband. Which Paul also confirms to be the reason for such a great mystery: The Mystery of One!

Anywho, which one is this first miracle pointing to, the Creator or that which is created? I know you know the answer, because it is the number of days in the beginning...

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragon and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the dessert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise." (Isaiah 43:18-21 KJV)
