"My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred." (S.O.S. 8:12)
"For we are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:20)
Before I go any further, I need to address the notion of what it means to believe or not believe, who Jesus is, not being that important: If you do not believe He is God, this is, without a doubt, what John refers to as the spirit of the Antichrist!
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." (1 John 4:1-3)
You would be amazingly surprised by how many that claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, and yet, they refuse to believe that He was God in the flesh! I say refuse, because the real truth to their inability to see who He really is, was, and always will be, is that there heart will not allow them to see because of this spirit that is against Christ Jesus. But, why is this even being talked about? What point is there in this to the possible notion of us being joint heirs with Christ?
""Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."" (John 14:1-4)
It is in this Spirit, that would be the Holy Spirit, that we know who Jesus is! Without the power or the Holy Spirit showing us the truth, the Truth cannot be totally and completely understood. The Chief Cornerstone is not just a stumbling block to the Jew, but is a stumbling block to the entire world! Anyone that does not believe in there heart in the Son, cannot even begin to understand the complete power of the cross and the price that was paid for their salvation. This is not up for debate: the curse has been lifted, but it was lifted up by only One Way to the Father; and that was Jesus Christ!
Okay, now we can move forward to the stuff of good and plenty! There is coming a day when all of the works we have done in the name of Christ will be tested with fire; as to whether or not this is fire that involves a flame, I know not, and neither does anyone else. It could be that it is tested by the fire of love; because if anything is not done in love, it does not actually count. (1 Corinthians 3:1-3)
If you know how God judges a man or woman, He does not look upon the outward appearance, but He looks at the heart. We see what we see; God sees what we cannot see! That said, this vineyard has an amazing story behind it, as well as before it; as it not only holds upon it's vines the clusters of souls, but holds the love, that holds them all together! If there is only one thing that we get to keep when we depart the world and move into the next, it is love...
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)
