"A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion." (Psalms 112:5)
Actually, I hardly ever lend out money that I do not care that I get paid back. Once it leaves my hand, I really don't keep track of it anymore, mostly because it never really was mine to begin with. I have been listening to Pastor Damian on the drive home and he said something that I had never really heard or realized before, that all our ungodliness are the sins we commit against God, but all of our unrighteousness is the sins we commit against one another. He used the two tablets to explain his thought, that the first tablet was the commands regarding our relationship with God, while the second tablet was the commands regarding our relationship with one another. So I guess we could sum it all up about it being about relationships...
""But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil."" (Luke 6:35) KJV
