"The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath." (Psalms 110:5)
People just don't realize how serious the this is going to get, but there is coming a day when all the earth will curse God for the judgment that He will pour out upon this earth. There will be no doubt in that day that He is Lord, because they will all realize that it is Him that is poring out judgment, not the earth itself. Can you imagine the ignorance and stupidity of some of the smartest people alive today; those that think the world is reacting to climate change, change that is caused by man's carbon footprint upon this earth. They have seen nothing yet, if they think this is something. Jesus said that the end times would be as they are right now; so why are people so surprised that it is happening? Whether you know it or not, the Great Tribulation is God's wrath being poured out upon the earth. Don't you doubt it, because it will be a serious time to be a follower of Christ. If you think that there won't be any believers the get left behind, think again. I know that I don't have all the answers, but neither does anyone else. We are all part of the tapestry of God, woven into His work, His handiwork of eternity and master design. Yesterday Pastor Bryan gave a teaching about the Finger of God; teaching that the Scripture which speaks of Jesus writing on the ground was not about Him writing in dirt, because the Temple floor would not have been dirty. I guess I never realized before that Jesus was sitting in the Temple teaching when they brought that woman to Him. The amazing thing about the finger of God, is that His finger is what prevailed against Jacob. Jacob wrestled all night against the Lord, and it actually seemed as though he had prevailed; that is until the Lord touched his side with His finger. The weakness of the Lord is stronger than the strongest man! Can you imagine what it will look like to witness His power and might! Maybe we just need a little reminder...
"Then I saw heaven open, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest pure white linen, followed him on white horses. From his mouth came a sharp sworn to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords." (Revelation 19:11-16) NLT
