"Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin." (Hebrews 10:18 KJV)
"Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven! Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness!" (PSALM 150:1-2 NLT)
There is something else I have discovered over all these years, the whole notion of aliens is really not true; there are many people who think they are real, as more and more are believing that we are not alone. Well, I agree, we are surely not alone! Never have we ever been not alone! There was a time, a brief time when God quit communicating to us through the prophets, which around 450-425 B.C., when the Book of Malachi was written, telling of coming Messiah, but not before that day the prophet, Elijah, must come.
We should all know who that was, as it was John the Baptist; the one who came in the spirit of Elijah, to announce Jesus, "The Lamb of God", the Messiah that came to save the world! Oddly enough, He was not what they were looking for, even though the Scriptures clearly said why He would come and what He was meant to do.
So you can see, there are many ways that people can be deceived by certain phenomenon; even Jesus was thought of as being a spirit, and those that crucified Him thought that He was demonic or crazy. Even His own brothers made fun of Him, thinking He just wanted popularity. This is really not all that hard to see: There are supernatural encounters all the time, whether it be demons or angels; we are surely not alone, because they are absolutely real!
The apostle Paul uses this as an example of the real battle we fight, saying: "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 NLT)
As to the statement in Hebrews, "there is no more offering for sin," that is because sin was defeated on the cross; Jesus paid the full price for everyone's sin, once and for all! And it is just like when Moses lifted up that snake in the wilderness, those who looked upon it and believed were healed; those that did not, died. They died because they did want to do what God asked them to do, even though they were told that it would heal them!
Talk about strange things happening in outer space; stranger things are happening right here on earth...
""God sent his son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants."" (John 3:17-21 NLT)
