"For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity." (Ecclesiastes 7:6 KJV)
"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Let all Israel repeat: "His faithful love endures forever." Let Aaron's descendants, the priests, repeat: "His faithful love endures forever." Let all who fear the LORD repeat: "His faithful love endures forever."" (PSALM 118:1-4 NLT)
Just stop and think what might happen, knowing how just God is, and how the wicked will be judged; there is really nothing we need to do, that can compare to God's judgment upon the wicked! I hate to see the children be taken into the path of wickedness, but I do believe that there will be mercy upon those who have been deceived, not knowing "their right hand from the left."
But those who were responsible for manipulation of the children, they will pay the price! Therefore, we really don't need to make much of a fuss about how badly things might appear, although it doesn't seem right. There is a day of reckoning that will come, we just need to be thankful that we will not be reckoned with, for the sins we might have done.
Think about it this way: the crackling of the thorns under a pot, is about all the thorns can do, as they get burned up, they crackle! So it is with the fool's laughter, as if they mock God; but God will not be mocked! There is the just of what they can do, nothing...
""I have a plan for the whole earth, a hand of judgment upon all nations. The LORD of Heaven's Armies has spoken - who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?"" (Isaiah 14:26-27 NLT)
