"Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib." (S.O.S. 6:12)
"And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
To see the complete picture that I believe Solomon is trying to illustrate, we must understand the three characters that are represented within this verse: To Know, The Seat of Appetites, and, A Willingness. If you have understood the fall in the garden: as, it was based upon a willingness to make a choice to choose bad over good, in doing so, Adam and Eve experienced what it was like to Know the difference. This was something that God had warned them about, because in knowing the difference, they had given birth to something that could not be easily undone; they could not not see what they now knew in their hearts!
In essence, it would be like the virgin that gives up her virginity, it is not coming back! To which, we see the change in the heart of a man, passionate to serve God, become aware of a passion for life; not just any life, but all that life had to offer! The term or word, "Amminadib," is a word that is not anywhere else in the Bible, because it is a name of something that is acted out in someone's life; as it means, "My people are willing," or "my willing people." The assumption given, is that it is most likely a name of a person; possibly a person of great ability with chariots, as in, having swiftness with his chariots.
As indicated in the list of characters, A willingness is sometimes faster and more powerful than the power of wisdom and self control; which can cause even the strongest among us to do utterly stupid and unexplainable sins. Now you see why this version of the story is not easy to talk about, it hits pretty close to home and you cannot take it back! You cannot unsee what you just saw! Which brings use to the, "To Know," character; you just lost your virginity, and your giving birth to knowledge; the knowledge of Good and Evil.
A place of grace! There is something that binds the willingness and renews virginity! The Seat of Appetites! This is where God's power comes in and makes a New Creature...
"Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." (Romans 6:11-14)
