"The Fool's Demise" -2
"There were they in fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them." (Psalms 53:5) There is such a huge difference between those that have faith and know God's love, and those that are outside of the family of God. I say family, not just because we are brothers and sisters, but because we all have been united under one Heavenly Father; a Father that loves us and has made His love known to us, and a Father that we can all put our trust and hope in, as He is more than just a Father, He is God! Do you realize what we are to Him? Do you realize what you are to Him? You are His child; a son or a daughter of The Living God; and because you are His child, you are part of the family of God; we are all part of the family of God, and those that are not live in fear, a fear that is not really there, because God has removed it. Isn't that something to think about? Okay, maybe that is a stretch; but if you really think about it, God's plan of salvation is for everyone; Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world, which means that He died for every man, woman and child that ever lived; so actually, if someone fears judgment and death, they really don't need to, because the judgment has been satisfied by the blood of Jesus Christ and death was conquered in His resurrection. In that case, a "fool" is really just a fool, and is someone that God laughs at for being such a fool; which is one of my favorite Chick tracts from when I first got saved, "The Fool"; the one about the dying king who sent his court jester out to find a bigger fool than he, and he came back unsuccessful; but then he asked the king if he was prepared to die and face judgement, the king said no, so he declares the king is a bigger fool than he. It is really that simple of a choice: we either choose life or we choose death... "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:14-16)
