"He Must Be Praised!" -2
"For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast." (Psalms 33:9) As Christ is the Word, and the Spirit is Breath, all things exist in God; absolutely nothing is not His doing, with the exception of sin! I use to think that sin was originally part of God, but it was a part that God choose to put away from Himself, as if to say, This is not of Me, therefore, I will destroy this thing called sin, one way or another! But then I realized that God's perfect nature could never have created such a thing to begin with, but that He did know of it's existence, and that it was something that man needed to avoid; thus, the reason for the command given to Adam, saying, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in that day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2:16 & 17) Just because God knows something, does not mean that it came from Him; nor does it mean that the thought of such a thing originated with His thinking, but rather that He can see what sin will do; thus, the whole "thou shalt surely die" thing was not just words, but something that would actually happen. Yet, the devil, who being the father of lies, convinced Eve, saying, "Ye shalt not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:4 &5) There are some things that are better off not being known, and evil is one of them! It's the evil part of the equation that God has expelled from His existence; because God is Light and evil is darkness, and there is no darkness that can dwell in the Light of God; none pretty much means none, but that does not mean there is no knowledge of it, it just means that there is no place for it within the character of who God is. That said; God knew that He needed to destroy all that was associated with evil, therefore, "He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast"; long story short, God made it happen with His Word! It is the Word of God that is more powerful than any other thing in existence, including the darkness! It is actually pretty easy to understand why God needed to come and die for our sins, if a person is willing to except the fact that they are dead already, as in spiritually dead and separated from God because of sin; just as sin in the form of evil is separated from God, so too is all that is associated with evil, included fallen man. BUT GOD! Who stepped into the darkness and created the LIGHT to bring us out of the darkness and give us LIFE: HE MUST BE PRAISED!!!!!!!!
